About the firm
Twelve years of quotes kept and dates met
Meridian Chambers opened in 2014. One rule hangs above the printer. No work starts until the client has a fee in writing.
Our story
Founded by two lawyers who saw the bills clients got
Adrian Khoo and Farhana Musa spent ten years at a large Kuala Lumpur practice. The work was good. But clients often learned the true cost only when the final bill arrived.
In 2014 they leased half a floor of Menara Cendana. They opened a firm where the quote comes first. Twelve years on, the rule above the printer has not moved. Most new clients come from referrals, from people whose transfer completed on the day we promised.

The people on your file
Three lawyers carry their own files. Grace Tan runs the front desk and keeps every diary and quote moving.
Adrian Khoo
Managing partner, conveyancing
Has done more than a thousand transfers since 2008. Still reads every sale and purchase agreement line by line. Keeps the completion-date record on a whiteboard behind his desk.
Farhana Musa
Partner, corporate and commercial
Drafts shareholders' and employment agreements. Explains every clause before signing. Left a large practice to build one where clients read what they sign.
Priya Shanmugam
Senior associate, property and estates
Handles tenancies, wills and refinancing files. Writes most of the Friday progress notes. Clients often mention these notes when they refer us.
