Rimbun Landscapes

About us

We started with one lorry and a lawnmower

Rimbun started in 2018. We said yes to overgrown gardens other crews turned down. Eight years on, our promise has not changed. We keep gardens lush by coming back.

Our story

We build gardens, then we keep them

Zul ran maintenance crews for a big landscape contractor for six years. He kept seeing the same thing. Gardens built beautifully, then left to fade, because nobody planned for the care. Rimbun was his answer. A small team that plans every garden around the care it will get.

Today we are eight people across two crews. We work from a corner lot in Seksyen 9. There is a small holding nursery out back. About forty gardens sit on our monthly round. Most new clients arrive the same way as the first ones. A neighbour recommends us, over the fence.

The name is the standard we work to. Rimbun is Malay for lush and leafy. That is how a garden looks with the same person caring for it.

How the monthly round works

The care plan matters most to us. This is what a visit looks like.

  • Same crew, every visit

The same two people who plan your garden turn up each month. They know which corner floods in November. They know which hedge grows fastest.

  • Work first, then proof

We do mowing, edging, pruning, feeding and pest checks. This follows a checklist agreed at the walkthrough. Before leaving, the crew sweeps the paths. They bag every scrap of green waste.

  • A photo report on WhatsApp

Within the hour, you get before and after photos on WhatsApp. We also note anything that needs a decision. For example, a tree ready for pruning or a bed due for replanting.

A garden is never finished. It is looked after, or it is not.

A walkthrough takes half an hour and costs nothing. You get a written quote. And an opinion on what to keep, move or let go.
